The first day of the festival, June 9 at 7:00 PM, will feature the opening of the art exhibition “Art Week – Banja Luka Gymnasium” at the Youth Center. The exhibition will remain open for seven days.

Students from the Gymnasium have also prepared a performance titled “Art Through Time”, which will take place at the “Parkić” location (the promenade between the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and the Ban Milosavljević monument) on Sunday, June 15 at 9:00 PM. Both the exhibition and the performance are organized in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On Monday and Tuesday, June 9 and 10, children’s face painting workshops will be held at “Parkić” (by the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and Ban Milosavljević monument), led by face painters Branka Repac, Jelena Pucar, and Marijana Kretić. At the same location on Wednesday, June 10, a children’s workshop titled “Recycled Art – Creating Collages in the Kids’ Corner” (led by Nina Milutinović) is planned.

At Krajina Square on June 13, Clown Barabba from Istria, Croatia will perform at 6:45 PM.

A variety of engaging activities will take place in Petar Kočić Park on Saturday and Sunday, June 14 and 15, offering children, youth, and their parents a fun-filled weekend.

– 09:30 – Presentation by students of the “Branko Davidović” Music School
– 10:00 – Magic show by Zoran Arnaut
– 10:00 – “Rubik’s Cube” workshops (Rubik Club of BiH)
– 10:00 – Face painting workshop (Face painting by Ivana)

Sunday, June 15 (several events will run simultaneously):
– 09:00 – Comic and illustration school (NGO “Ninth Dimension”)
– 09:00 – Pottery workshop for children (Ivana Babić)
– 09:30 – Performance by students of the Rock Symphony Music Atelier
– 10:00 – Art exhibition and children’s workshop (Lidija Olenjuk)
– 10:00 – Children’s play (Dankan – theatre and dance club)
– 10:00 – Face painting workshop (Face painting by Ivana)
– 10:30 – Dance workshop for children (Dankan – theatre and dance club)

An animated film screening is scheduled for Saturday, June 14 at 9:45 PM in Liberation Park (Park oslobođenja). This activity is being realized in cooperation with the Animation Society of Republika Srpska. Prior to the screening, “Animacycle” will present outdoor animations during a ride from Krajina Square to Liberation Park, starting at 9:00 PM.

On Sunday, June 15, the show “Mr & Mrs Frantic” (Croatia/Poland) will be held at 6:30 PM at the “Parkić” location, followed at 7:00 PM by a “Street Show” by Dankan – theatre and dance club, at the same location.

The Trotoart Festival will be held from June 9 to 15, organized by the City of Banja Luka and the City Tamburitza Orchestra.
